Dozer Day 2026

Dozer Day 2026 returns Saturday, September 19th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 2310 Nashville Pike in Gallatin, Tennessee.

Dozer Day® is a community event presented by the underground utility and civil construction industry. Children can operate heavy construction equipment and enjoy hands-on, construction-themed activities, including the rare opportunity to sit in the cabs of excavators, dozers, and backhoes and experience how the machines work.
Dozer Day® of Middle TN provides complimentary tickets to children’s charities and local schools, expanding access for young attendees. Remaining proceeds fund scholarships, safety training, and other programs that introduce youth to the construction industry. Through these efforts, TUCA and MTWDA aim to raise awareness of construction career opportunities.

In addition to Dozer Day, a Career Fair will be hosted on Thursday, September 17th.  The Career Fair is open to high school students and the general public. Local high schools will share fair information with students, while adults can find additional details in the website’s “Career Fair” tab.

This year’s Title Sponsor is Rogers Group, Inc.  The Presenting Sponsors are RAWSO Constructors, Sunbelt Rentals Trench Safety, and United Rentals Trench Safety.   With collective support, Dozer Day® Middle TN 2026 will continue to provide valuable resources for the region’s youth while fostering interest in future careers in construction.

Information on tickets, sponsorships, and Career Fair registration can be found at https://midtn.dozerday.org All Dozer Day attendees are required to have tickets for entry, and the Career Fair requires registration.  Admission is free for children aged 3 and under.

The event is presented by the Tennessee Utility Contractors Association (TUCA) and the Middle TN Workforce Development Academy (MTWDA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
