About Us

THE BEGINNING
Volunteer Traditions started when a couple of University of Tennessee grad students were discussing how they wanted apparel featuring the classic Tennessee Flag and Tristar to show their love for Tennessee.

After brainstorming, they created Volunteer Traditions in 2006 and began making simple, classic products for the Volunteer State. In the decade since, we've moved from a college apartment to a storefront in Nashville and expanded to help people across our great state show how much they love Tennessee.

CLASSIC VOLS
In 2012, Volunteer Traditions began to produce apparel for people who love Tennessee - the University of Tennessee. Partnering with the University, we tool the concepts that made our Tristar items successful - simple, timeless designs and created a line for fans who love ''Classic Vols'' apparel. From the Rifleman to Star Vols, we love bringing traditional designs that fans grew up with to life in a new way!
TODAY
While we have grown a great deal, we're still a small business doing what we can each week. We appreciate our customers who have been with us and welcome a new crowd who has come on board to help build the brand as we have expanded from our original Tennessee Flag Belt to a multitude of great products! - Mason Jones
