About Us
About Us: Since 2003, Volunteer Equine Advocates has been dedicated to providing a safe haven and support for Tennessee’s equines in need. As an IRS 501c3 organization, we work tirelessly to assist law enforcement in cases of animal cruelty and provide professional care for abused, neglected and abandoned equines.
Our Mission: Our mission is to support rescue efforts, rehabilitation and rehoming seized equines; When an equine cannot be rehabilitated to the point of entering a new home it will remain in our “Care for Life” program. We also strive to educate current and future horse owners to promote responsible horse ownership.
