The Sumner County Veteran Service office honors and assists Veterans, as well as their families, in applying for benefits with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The VA can be confusing at times, and our office is here to help you navigate through the necessary paperwork to get the benefits you have earned and deserve because of your service to this great nation.
Our office works closely with our local Veteran organizations and Tennessee Department of Veteran Services (TDVS). We are a county funded office that offers services, at no cost, to our Sumner County Veterans and their families. We offer in home appointments for our housebound Veterans needing assistance applying for benefits, please give our office a call if you need to schedule an in-home visit.
Our office also offers outreach in Hendersonville, Westmoreland, and Portland the first week of every month.
