About Us

PALS Preschool is a non-profit early learning center dedicated to providing a safe, affordable, and nurturing environment for children ages 1–5. Since opening in 2006 (formerly Gallatin Child Care Center), we’ve proudly served Sumner County families—especially low-income and minority households—through a 3-STAR Quality Program.

Our mission is to foster curiosity, creativity, and confidence while preparing each child for a smooth transition to kindergarten. Tuition is based on a sliding scale according to family size and income, and funding is supported by the USDA Food Program, Mid Cumberland Child Care Program, grants, private donations, and parent fees.

We use the Creative Curriculum to deliver 52 weeks of engaging, play-based learning. Daily activities include storytelling, hands-on science, math games, art, outdoor play, and more. Three nutritious meals are served daily.

PALS Preschool welcomes all children without discrimination. To learn more, schedule a tour, or check availability, contact us today!
