About Us

Since the opening of Goodpasture Christian School in September of 1966, administrators, faculty, and staff have all endeavored to support our mission: Building Confidence, Intellectual Growth, and Spiritual Strength in every student.

For over 50 years, Goodpasture Christian School has been a ministry serving the educational needs of families who wish to have Godly values and a relationship with Jesus Christ as the center of their child's learning experiences. Goodpasture Christian School has grown from approximately 150 students, faculty, and staff in our initial beginnings to over 1,000 students, faculty and staff who make up our school today. Along the way, GCS has served over 4,000 alumni who are making contributions to society in the Middle Tennessee region, as well as graduates who serve their communities nationally and internationally.

While many aspects of our school have changed such as new programs and updated facilities, some other aspects have remained constant such as a family atmosphere, daily Bible study, the modeling of Godly values, strong friendships, and strong preparation for higher education.
