Position Overview
The Retail Flooring Sales & Operations Coordinator plays a key role in our day-to-day operations by delivering outstanding customer service, supporting sales, coordinating projects, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, builders, and installation crews. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and thrives on building relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in person, over the phone, and through email.
- Help customers select flooring products that fit their style, needs, and budget while preparing accurate quotes and sales proposals.
- Coordinate with builders, customers, and installers to ensure projects are scheduled and completed efficiently.
- Maintain communication throughout the sales process, including product ordering, delivery updates, and installation scheduling.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendor representatives, manage showroom product displays, and coordinate staff product training.
- Process invoices, customer payments, deposits, and accounts receivable while following up on outstanding balances.
- Support administrative operations by processing vendor invoices, updating pricing and product information in QFloors, and maintaining accurate records.
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom environment.
- Previous experience in retail sales preferred but not required, customer service, office
- administration, or the flooring/home improvement.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer applications. Experience with QFloors is a plus but not required.
