Electrical Shop Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee our on site team in a dynamic Robotics and Automation environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and technical expertise in electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

Duties 

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the electrical maintenance team, providing guidance and support as needed. 
• Must have a Strong electrical background
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards. 
• Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to detect faults and troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. 
• Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems and implement solutions. 
• Fabricate and install electrical components as necessary, ensuring high-quality workmanship. 
• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate seamless operations across the facility. 
• Provide training and mentorship to junior electricians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications 

• Proven experience in Robotics and Automation field, particularly in an electrical capacity. 
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems. 
• Ability to read schematics accurately and implement necessary repairs or modifications. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. 
• Production planning
• Scheduling of workload· 
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and other departments. 
• Certification as an Electrician is preferred but not mandatory.
• Tooling requirements and machine maintenance to ensure a smooth flow of work throughout the shop.
• Strong computer skills
• Adhere to production schedule and communicate on any issues that affect the delivery requirements.
