February is American Heart Month and we can make healthy changes to lower our risk of developing heart disease. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women. To prevent heart disease and increase awareness of its effects, UT Extension is proudly participating in the American Heart Month by promoting healthy habits to aid in heart health. Join us for a 6-week nutrition series where we will learn ways to eat healthy and be more active. Classes will be held on Thursdays at the UT Extension Office in Sumner County at 658 Hartsville Pike in Gallatin starting February 7th from 5:30p to 6:45p. Call 615-452-1423 to register.
