Join Nissan and the Tennessee Environmental Council’s (TEC) Recycling Roundup—a free event where you can responsibly recycle or donate hard-to-recycle items! Event Details: Nissan Smyrna Vehicle Assembly Plant Nissan Drive, Smyrna, TN – Gate 5 Saturday, November 15, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Free and open to the public (suggested donation: $10–$25) Your donations help support TEC’s sustainability programs. We’re accepting a wide variety of items, including: Mattresses, tires, electronics, Styrofoam blocks, scrap metal Clothing, textiles, cardboard, glass bottles, alkaline batteries, ink cartridges Medications (collected by law enforcement) and documents for secure shredding New this year: Clean pet supplies, torn/tattered socks, donatable medical supplies, crayons, tennis balls, sports equipment, gently used books, household goods, canned goods, pumpkins, compost, and eyeglasses.
