Tree Talks: we'll start a slow walk talking about native trees, history, ID techniques, wildlife value for 20 minutes and move right in to mindfulness in nature, what this means, techniques for peak results, and practicing mindfulness. We stay on paved paths so anyone can participate. This isn't exercise; it's an evidence-based technique for stress reduction that lowers blood pressure, respiration, pulse rate, tension when practiced 2-3 times weekly for 20-30 minutes. This part is lead by Sumner County Health Department staff practiced in mindfulness techniques.
