Groundbreaking for Safe Place for Animals

Join us for a ribbon cutting celebrating the new facility of Safe Place for Animals (SPA), a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping homeless, abandoned, and unwanted pets in our community.

As a no-kill animal rescue shelter and pet adoption center, SPA provides compassionate care, veterinary services, spay/neuter services, grooming, and adoption opportunities for animals in need. The new facility represents an exciting step forward in SPA’s mission to care for local animals and connect them with loving, responsible homes. SPA’s shelter is open 365 days a year and relies entirely on the generosity of community members, receiving no government financial assistance.
