Fire on the water is a one-day music festival on the Cumberland River that celebrates Gallatin’s spirit with music, entertainment, and a unique food and beverage experience unlike any other gathering north of Nashville.
The event is organized by some heavy hitters in town including the Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Gallatin, Sumner County Tourism and two local festival organizers who know both the talent and production side of the business. The social media response has been tremendous, and our website www.fireonthewaterfestival.com is already getting visits from all over the nation.
Fire on the Water takes place in Lock 4 Park. The two stages at the park will have the most memorable of backdrops with more than a 180 degree view of the Cumberland River. The event will feature national, regional, and local talent - including something for nearly all music fans. Around this, the festival will include a convoy of food trucks with a diverse range of food options and craft brews.
Tickets will be capped at 3,500 people, and that’s the way we like it. It’s large enough to entice people from all over the region and stimulate the economy, but small enough to be intimate and manageable. Proceeds from the event will be re-invested the City’s parks.
The goal of Fire on the Water music festival is to create an impression. From traffic control, parking, signage, VIP areas, LED sign displays, beer and food vending, sponsors can take part in enhancing every one of those experiences.
