The 2019 County Sumner Irish Festival takes place Saturday, March 9, from 10am-4pm at Bledsoe's Fort Historical Park amid the gentle rolling hills of Castalian Springs, Tennessee. Admission into the event is $10/vehicle. Click the video at the top of the page for a fun look at last year's County Sumner Irish Festival!
The County Sumner Irish Festival is anchored around an authentic Irish stone cottage built by Irish immigrant Hugh Rogan here in Sumner County in the late 1790s! Along with tours of the Irish cottage, live Irish music is a highlight of this event: The Def Leprechaun Band, Four Leaf Peat, and Kettle of Fish will have you toe-tapping and dancing along to authentic Irish tunes! (Please bring chairs and blankets for seating as this is an outdoor event.)
The Nashville Gaelic Athletic Club brings Gaelic football and hurling to the fields of the park along with an exhibition game that is sure to entertain!
A costume contest will determine the best dressed who embodies the Irish/Celtic spirit! Prizes will be announced as the event draws nearer.
Food trucks, local craft beer from Half Batch Brewing, vendors, and so much more make for a day of merriment at the 2019 County Sumner Irish Festival!
Stay tuned for more information to be posted on this page about food, vendors, and more!
