2025 United Way Mom & Baby Care Drive

Every baby deserves a healthy start, and every mother deserves access to essential personal care items—but for many families in our community, these necessities are out of reach.

United Way of Sumner County’s Health Community Impact Area includes a focus on Maternal & Child Health, ensuring that moms and babies have the resources needed for a strong, healthy foundation. Access to diapers, wipes, and feminine care products is essential to that mission—but too many families are struggling to afford these basic necessities.
 

1. Items* needed for Baby:
   • Diapers - all sizes
   • Pull-ups - all sizes
   • Wipes
2. Items* needed for Mom:
   • Feminine Products - all varieties
   • Personal Care Items
     • Tooth Paste
     • Toothbrushes
     • Shampoo and Conditioner
     • Body Wash
     • Deodorant
     • Razors
     • Hair Brushes
3. You can also shop our Amazon Wish list of items and have them delivered straight to our office.  We also have a registry at Wal-mart if you'd like to pick-up items or have them shipped directly to us.

*Note:  Items donated should include new, full-sized items only -  no opened packages, please.  Also, we can only accept the baby items listed - no formula, gear, clothes, or other baby items are needed.

Participate:

1. Sign-up to serve as a public drop-off location for Mom & Baby Care Drive donations.
   • Help promote the event at your location and encourage customers/clients to bring donations. 
   • We'll supply posters and flyers you can copy and use for a drop-box and/or to hang at your business, in windows, on bulletin boards, etc., so you can let the public know you are accepting donations on our behalf.
2. Conduct an internal collection campaign at your company and encourage employees to participate.
   • We'll supply posters and flyers you can copy and use for a drop-box and/or to hang at your business, in windows, on bulletin boards, in the breakroom, at the water cooler, on doors, etc., so you can remind employees you are collecting donations on our behalf.
