125th Spring Outing - The Hermitage

Join us on May 13, 2026 for Spring Outing, a cherished tradition at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage. This annual luncheon on the lawn supports the ongoing preservation and operation of this historic site. This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate 125 years of Spring Outing alongside the 250th anniversary of the United States. It’s a moment to honor the visionary women who founded the Ladies’ Hermitage Association in 1889 and those who have carried its mission forward. This year, we are excited to have former CBS news anchor, Norah O’Donnell and author and historian, Kate Andersen Brower as our keynote speakers. They will be discussing their new book We The Women: The Hidden Heroes Who Shaped America, a groundbreaking book that uncovers the hidden heroines of American history – women who shaped the nation’s path but were long overlooked.
