Born into slavery and later a courageous advocate for abolition and women's rights\, Truth traveled widely sharing her story and challenging injustice\, famously asking\, "Ain't I a Woman?" Her speeches and activism helped shape the fight for equality and continue to inspire generations. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore the Saving Old Hickory's Hermitage exhibition\, highlighting the women of the Ladies' Hermitage Association who preserved Andrew Jackson's home. This engaging program invites audiences of all ages to reflect on the courage\, determination\, and leadership of those who fought for justice and the enduring legacy of women who made their voices heard.
