The Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation in our area. We are currently working with City of Gallatin and Sumner County government officials and are in touch with local\, state\, and federal agencies. We are in communication with the US Chamber of Commerce and other professional Chamber organizations to provide the most up-to-date information and resources for business preparedness. \n\nThe big take away\, if you are not feeling well - stay home. \n\n\n\nGallatin Shamrock Run 5K & 10K - Saturday\, March 14\, 2020\n\nDeadline for Registration - to receive a race shirt is February 10\, 2020. \n\nDeadline to participate prior to race day - Thursday\, March 1st!\n\n Registration will be available the morning of the race at 6:30 am\n\nThe first 500 participants to cross the finish line will receive a race medal to commemorate the event. \n\nRegistration: 6:30am\n\nRoads Close In and Around the Start Site at 6:45am\n\n10K starts at 7:15am\n\n 5k starts at 7:30am\n\nThe Gallatin Shamrock Run is presented by the Gallatin Chamber of Commerce to benefit the Gallatin Chamber Foundation\, a 501(c)3 organization. Proceeds will be used to fund innovative educational grants for teachers K-12 in the City of Gallatin. \n\nJoin us for a fun run through Historic Downtown Gallatin\, Tennessee. This primarily flat course is great for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. The 10K participants will run the 5K course twice and have a little over 90 minutes to complete the race. Participants in the 5K will be grouped by estimated completion time and have 60 minutes to finish. \n\nThe roads will open back up at 9:00am/9:15am. Anyone who has not completed the race will be asked to move to the sidewalk to complete their race.\n\nPrizes will be awarded to top finishers male and female\, and awards will be given for the best St. Patrick's Day costume and the most team spirit. \n\n\n\nParking Locations: Sumner County Public Library (enter from Smith Street) or park across from General Sessions Court on S Water Avenue (Maps will be available mid-February)\n\n \nEvent details and schedule: \n\nRegistration will open at 6:30 on race morning.
